Snippets from Metallica playing Last Caress at the Hullabaloo Benefit concert at the Wiltern Theater in LA on May 14, 2008.

-----
I went to the Hullabaloo benefit concert to see Metallica and it was amazing! This is the closest I've been to the band at a concert and it was fantastic. The Wiltern floor has multiple levels, and I was on the first level above the pit, in the front row! I had the best vantage point from which to take pictures and videos (which I did) and I am presenting them here for you to enjoy. I only started recording half way into the show, because I first wanted to enjoy the show without fumbling around with the camera. Also, I never recorded a full song because I wanted to really rock out and enjoy every song, which is difficult to do while holding a camera, so please excuse the cuts/song incompleteness. The setlist was perfect, here it is:

Creeping Death
Fuel
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
...And Justice For All
Sad But True
Disposable Heroes
One
Master Of Puppets
Battery
- - - - -
Last Caress
No Remorse
Enter Sandman
- - - - -
Fight Fire With Fire (w/ Flea)
Seek and Destroy

  • they knocked this one down in LESS than one minute, WTF... lol. that's fucking fast

  • ye and what is it then ? faggot.

  • invaders and genghis kahn! they played that invaders riff at the weenie roast too i was at both shows it was sick. i love when metallica fucks around like this.

  • NICE COVER

  • i doubt they wont play any new songs until coser to the realease date so people dont tape their new stuff and put it on the web, which ironicly they let happen back in the 80's

  • I know they probably won't, but it would be amazing if Metallica continued to play at smaller venues like this one.

  • nice to see them rocking again
