@Voxman5 That's comforting to know, I may just check it out. Thank you.

@lockpicker2k The Vox forum isn't like that. It's very friendly & helpful - pop in and have a chat; there's lots of good knowledge there that folk are very happy to share. And it doesn't get out of hand (I'm one of the official moderators there anyway)

@Vöxman5 What douche response, forums are full of pompous, arrogant know it alls. You can't ask a simple question and get a simple answer on forums. Then theres the forum Nazi's who' are not even moderators but will self appointed themselves as chief forum keeper because they've been a member for 10 years and so believe they have the right to point out every little error or petty broken rule. Please! You have a better chance of getting a short, down to earth direct answer here on Youtube.

@timothyga01 The AD30VT is an old model; only 11 amp models, more basic effect options, & 2 user memories. VT30 replaced the AD30VT - 22 amp models, better effects inc global reverb, 8 patch user memory, & amp models are later technology. VT40+ is replacement for VT30- it's smaller, lighter (new class D power section can be pushed to 60w), has 33 amp models & a new pedal section adding a further 11 effect options, 3 reverb options, plus it has a tuner built in & an aux out for mp3/CD.

I need help guys I'm getting an amp soon I thinkmy budget is about $200 maybe 250 so I wasthinking on getting the Vox Valvetronix VT30 30W or the Vox Valvetronix AD30VT 30w theAD30VT is $10 more but is it worth it? thats if I get to spend 250 if I don't i think I'm getting the VT20+ 20W or the VT15 15W. they are the same price but the vt+ has more watts??!?! so whats the deal with this?

@zzseba I've a VT40+ on loan & plan to do a demo over Xmas. Reserving judgement until I can put it through paces (no chance to crank it yet). First impressions are Pro's: great tone, good bottom end, love the new pedal section (adds real versatility), smaller & lighter, better speaker, & I like the black cloth grill. Cons: some high-gain amp models seem 'samey' , some amp models I liked in VT are gone, no line outs, & the tuner is 'twitchy'.

Honestly, do you recommend the VOX vt30 or VOX Vt40+?? Some comments say thar the old vt30 sounds better and the vt40+ looks "cheaper"...? Í´ll buy this amp next week in Argentina, and your help is welcome, thanks man, your Rock!!
I'm liking PRS's more and more, and your model is just... wow.
Awesome demo.

@gorillazhead Thanks very much; really glad you liked the vid. Yup, the PRS Cu24 is a very nice guitar that's beautifully put together. New prices are crazy but if you're patient there are some used gems to be found.

This versus a Laney cub 12r 15 watts full valve. Which one is better in you opinion because im thinking of getting either of those 2 I also have an rp 255.

@henzery Sorry, only just saw this (for some reason it showed as spam). I realise this was 11 mths ago but I recently bought a Laney Cub 12R for myself a few mths back (swapped the Rocket 50 for a Vintage 30). Cracking little amp (pop into the Laney forum to discuss in more detail) Very different type of amp to VT30/VT40+ - not so much which is 'better', more what suits you. You can't beat the V'x amps for versatility & bang for buck, but the Cub is a super little straight amp too.
