  • Thank you so much for taking the time to comment: VERY much appreciated.Living in Ohio, you have the splendid resources of Oberlin at your fingertips. That organ department is one of the very best. Good luck with your organ study - it will stand you in good stead for a lifetime. Greetings from San Francisco!

  • Really nice sound ! Do you know the temperament of the organ ?

    Thank you ? :)

  • @TheBaroquefan - Thank you so much for your kind comment. The organ is tuned in the Kellner temperament. A fuller description of this little instrument can be found on the website: georgan.com

  • What a joy for my ears and my heart.

  • @pautalux - Thank you very much. The organ is truly a joy. It is a privilege to be the curator of such an instrument which, one can suppose, will be a joy to others long after we are no longer here. It is humbling to play an instrument such as the little one manual organ is Sturmthal, Germany - which was dedicated by J.S.Bach. And there it is, still making wonderful sounds!

  • Perfect registration. I love the first setting.

Your phrasing and articulation is spot on, good idea to couple the swell to pedals, I think I'll do this from now on as well. (Still learning).

Beautiful organ!! I want one! Its tremulant is divine.

    Nice tempo as well.

  • James,

Thank you so much for stopping by my channel and for your kind and generous comment. The dom Bedos tremulant is indeed a joy, and in the Pachelbel it makes the Prestant sing beautifully. I would love to hear something from you. Please share! It will be fun for you. Cheers, George

  • Having another sleepless night, but I think finding your video was worth the insomnia. Wonderful. Thank you. I'm a beginning organist in Dayton, OH.

  • Wow, you make this look easy! I'm currently playing BWV 599 from the Orgelbüchlein right now, and I'm sure my organ professor would be very happy with me if I played it as well as you did in this video!

  • You make this Chorale look easy! I have much trouble with the pedals. Thank you for your wonderful comment on my profile!
