Walking to the UGA coliseum afforded a great oppurtunity to exhort the drunks to put down the bottle and pick up the Bible!

  • The Holy Spirit needs to validate you. You need to examine you, I have found what you have said to be contrived and arbitrary. God is not that way.

  • Colossians 3:12-16. I love you guys. Look around you, look at what God has given us. And here we are, on our computers, arguing. Let not hate blind us, brothers. God Bless! :)

  • As a Christian, I have all the treasure of wisdom, stored up in Christ. I have access to Him, through the Holy Spirit who teaches all things necessary for the entrance to God's Kingdom. Do you see my point about proving the Bible wrong? You are starting with the axiom that there are errors in the Bible. Will you give me one please? Now, you can google the skeptics website and I will deal with that as I have many times. But, do YOU have one error or discrepency you can tell me of right now?

  • You have the atheistic socialists wanting to take all religion out of society and I'm totally against that! You also have neo-con theocrats trying to legistlate their version of the Bible and I'm against that as well! The Godless vs. the Pharasees are what's going to bring about Armageddon, God's going to get sick of the sins of both and he's going to have had enough. Just because I don't want the Church injected into politics doesn't mean I'm godless!

  • Just like you can't prove anything you wrote! Satan has made sure that only God will be able to fully reveal the truth in the end. Satan has more power than you and I both realize. Besides, I NEVER said God lied! I NEVER said it! I said man may have lied on occasion.

I'm just sick of the damn culture war going on in America which is atheist socialist liberals vs. neo-conservative theocratic Christians and the rest of America in the middle! Neither side is right!

  • And yes, he requires obedience, but he requires us to seek the truth and not just rely on one source. I'm not saying the Bible is filled with lies, but I seriously doubt its perfect by any means. Man is not perfect, man's nature is sinful, man wrote down what God was to have inspired yet it makes sense that they could have messed it up for personal gain on occasion. You are sinning when you say I'm not a Christian. God knows I'm a Christian, I don't need you to validate my salvation.

  • You can't prove anything you wrote, you just make ambiguous charges without evidence. Your just like those 'Christians'. Stop sinning and trust the Savior. NO God did not lie when He inspired holy men of old to write down His Words that you may know. Would you say that Jesus is God?

  • You think you know where I'm coming from, but the truth is you do not! People have used religion including the Christian religion, to kill and oppress people for millenia. I am sure that the translations and even original writings of the Bible at times were altered to acheive this purpose! Many Christians are sheep for thinking that the KJV is completely true and not without error. God did NOT lie, but man did on occasion when he wrote it down. I don't have another Christ!

  • Your last statement reveals you are NOT a Christian. Jesus said, "Either you are for me, or against me, if against, you are of your father the devil a liar from the beginning." Now you look for cracks in God's word as if He could lie. You sir are the liar, you have another Christ. Repent or you will perish. Jesus is love, but a love that requires obedience.

  • I would like to eventually learn early and middle Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek and Latin. I'd then find the oldest, most original scriptures I could and translate them into English, without all the political intrigue that possibly contaminated the KJV. I'm sure there might be some discrepancies between what God actually meant and what's there, but at least some of the later adding to and taking away from the scriptures would be eliminated. It would be a big task to undertake by myself, though.
