My new Venox 250, got it in late 09. Only just released in Australia after many years overseas. Notice the absence of the headlight switch above the starter on the Australian release. Having trouble getting genuine accessories so far such as saddlebags. Also has anyone chrome plated their engine covers? Thinking about doing that. Anyway it is a great learners bike. Reply with your experiences or input with your own Venox. Cheers.

  • I've had this bike for 2 years now and I'm still riding it, pretty much every day. Great commuter. It is my first bike and I love it. Perfect bike for any big city. It is fine to go on the freeway (70 mph in the US, no problem) on short distances. I did more than 10,000 km with it and had absolutely no problems. It still starts first try when it is freezing and it has been sleeping outside too. I just scrub the rust and repaint the pipe underneath the engine every 6 months. Great first bike.

  • @sucemacouille . I can't rave enough about mine, as a learner approved cruiser though there is simply no match. That said, as a big guy I simply have to set my sights on a larger bike ergonimically, especially with the tendonitis I have in my leg joints. Were this not the case I would probably keep the Venox for a few years. Once my restriction lifts I am looking at Suzuki m109r or a Victory Jackpot (if cash permits). As phenomenal as the Venox is it is still just a 250.

  • whats the top speed on this bike

  • 140 kph (30kph faster than is legal anywhere in Australia)

  • Just about to get my red 09 model! Can't wait, all reviews are so positive and the look and sound + ride are best in class. Only thing is you have to keep them clean or else the finish will start to go after a while.

  • Yeah they still sell them in Australia, There have now been 3 sold in SA. Best learners bike on the market.

  • the bike looked awesome under sunlight. i have a red one in my garage, it glows like flame!

  • @Travixius. oh ya, I love it but indeed, it is only a 250. Sometime when I can afford it, the next step will be a BMW F800R. I think I'm tired of the cruiser style which is actually kind of ridiculous for a 250cc.

  • hooooooooooooooo que belleza..... lovely

  • @Grieg13 thankfully not! no damages but the screws did come out due to vibrations after only 1 week so i guarantee it will happen. slight oversight from manufacturer. other than that, works/looks great.

  • the venox is a great bike and a head turner as i own 1 iwas asked the other day if it was a 1000cc they were shocked when told it was a 250

  • @upT3mpo Is that said from personal experience? If so I'm soooooo sorry!! :)

Spanish? no problem, don't need translator. But something tells me they won't have Croatia as a country they ship it to.
