  • Give me Queen Latifah anytime!!!! The first song I ever heard from her, and I was hooked!

  • The best thing Latifah ever did. Peace.

  • @MaaKandaL That ain't suspect, that is "sampling". You think BDP didn't jack that beat from somewhere? And the fact that they layered the sample with another one and it took you a minute to rrealize it means they did a good job.

  • @MaaKandaL yea but at the same time, her and KRS were down with each other so it didn't really matter

  • shes the true Queen Bee

  • dope and the soulshock mix is even better.

  • Now where did they get that rhythm guitar lick in the background? Ah! Chicken Strut by The Meters.

  • Oh Sh*t, I was just listening to "South Bronx" and I just realized, yo, this beat is really not original at all. Like I was saying earlier, the main base of this beat came from "The Bridge is Over", layered with another beat that made it unique. But if you listening from 2:35, you will realize, the other beat they use is actually another BDP track, "South Bronx". They just took two of BDP's tracks and layered them together. Really suspect, man. I still like this song, but really suspect.

  • This beat is dope no doubt. But, if you grew up in that era, you will know that beat came from BDP's "The Bridge is Over". The took the main beat and added additional beats to give it a unique sound. It's hot, no doubt, but it originated from "The Bridge is Over"

  • PLEASE post MAMA GAVE BIRTH TO THE SOUL CHILDREN!
