  • could i need just leave out cream of tartar?

  • @fanlover34567 We recommend that you follow the recipe as directed. Unfortunately, omiting the Cream of Tartar will negatively affect the results.

  • These look yummy. It would be helpful to have the ingredients listed in the "about this video" section so that they can be copied and pasted, then printed out for reference.

    HEAT oven to 450ºF.

MIX first 5 ingredients in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in Cheddar. Add milk; stir until mixture forms soft dough.

PLACE on lightly floured surface; knead 8 to 10 times or until smooth. Pat out dough into 6-inch square. Cut into 9 squares; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm with cream cheese spread.

  • These were VERY quick and easy however they didn't have a buttery flavor, they just kind of tasted like the baked flour with cheese and they weren't flaky at all and were very stiff. I would also describe them very much like scones
