In this video, Coach Nicole of SparkPeople.com leads you through a short (7-minute) lower body strength and toning routine that will help you build lean muscle and lose weight. You'll need a ball and dumbbells. For a longer workout, simply repeat the video.

  • I can't find any back videos, do you have some that concentrates only on the back? If not, do you have some videos that are good for the back?

  • OH, and, according to Consumer Reports, you dont have to spent a ton of money for a home gym. They suggest a set of weights, a balance ball, resistance bands, and a mat. Thats all you need, and these videos are proof of that!

  • i dont have a ball. I have seen each of the 7 excercises and i cant do 6 of them cuz i dont hav a ball.are ther any subsitutes of a ball?

  • Check out our channel for dozens of exercise videos that don't use a ball, and several that don't use any equipment at all!

  • @amyouten Not necessarily, but they're designed to give you rest days between muscle groups.

  • i was wondering if this is a cardio work out? since i got sum body fat that i want to lose first before i use toning my muscles. is that right? lol

  • I love these sparkpeople videos! It has been horrible weather here the past 2 weeks, air is nice and chewy. :( So I have been doing the spark people videos for my cardio workout. It has been wonderful! I look forward to exercising now! And that has never happened before!

  • I did day one and two together and I am sweating and panting and loving myself I feel good I'm trying to lose 8 inches from around my waist and I already lost one doing her exercise since the 5th of Jan thanks so much.
