My E-flite F-16 ran quite well on a 3 cell battery, however, with the 4 cell it really screams!

This is running on:
1. 1600mAh - 2200mAh 4cell battery (20C)
2. E-flite 60A Pro Brushless ESC
3. Eflite Delta-v 480 4000kv brushless EDF motor + Fan unit (65mm)
4. E-flite S60 and Parkzone SV80 servos
5. Spektrum AR500 Receiver

The E-flite F15 which I am getting soon runs on TWO of these exact same fan units! It will have dual delta-v 480 4000kv motors with 65mm fans, and two E-flite 60A ESC's, as well as use two 2200mAh 4cell 30C batteries! I should be getting it in soon and hope to have it built by this weekend!

  • i have 2 3900kv motors with 2 55mm edf's. the motors can take 3cells, but if i run 2 of them together on 1 4cell lipo, do you think they can take it?

  • @Pono421 depends on motor, and esc. but if they made for 3s you would probably burn them out with 4s.

  • how do i test a 3cell edf on a 4cell setup without burning up the motor or esc?..... whats a good kv 2run on a 4cell lipo edf?.....

  • @Pono421 lookup if the motor and esc can handle the 4cell first, if they are made for only up to 3cells they will most likely burn out. You would have to swap the motor and esc for something better. KV depends on fan size. a 70mm fan EDF usually runs between 2,500 and 3,500kv(sometimes more or less, but this is average)... a 60mm edf usually is between 3,500 and 5,000 kv,

  • Dood thats an F-16..........u said F-15

  • @flyingchimp99 yes, I know. Simply a 'speak-o'... like a type-o :) Put the right title on the vid though :)

  • WOW i cant even begin to say how much of a difference there is between BH and E flite

  • ;0( nice a deadstick coming right at yea..Kinda dangerous

  • @tenrazo215 Well it is all in your mind. You just have to know where the plane is going, and know what controls will bring it back to you. It takes a while to learn it, but once you do, you can bring a plane so far away you can just see a dot in the sky, then bring it back safely.

  • @WarhawkLegend69 a simulator is a great way to learn without crashing planes. But for a first plane, something like the Supercub LP from Hobbyzone or if you want something smaller, the Parkzone micro J3Cub or Hobbyzone Champ are great choices.
