  • can you continue to add files to the disk image anytime you want? Or is it a 1 time thing?

  • @Lcd4lbad You can add more files anytime you want (click and drag), just remember the space you have available on the disk image

  • I have done this way before, but after I open it once, the times I open it thereafter it just lets me open it up without the password! Help!

  • @alalia111215 when you created the volume and set your password did you deselect "remember password in my computer"??

  • okay, so I have "protected files.dmg" mounted on my desktop but when I double click on it, nothing happens.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • @gurujpf66

    Yeah, I did. :/

Great tutorial by the way though! :)

  • I used to be fascinated with securing my files...but then as time went by, I realized no one cares about my files. Not even me. So, that's one where the programmers wasted their time. Though to be honest, I'm still fascinated with the process...it's so damn "secretive".

  • Which talent was he demonstrating this time? Actually, don't tell me...I don't think my mommy would like you telling me.

  • wow, thanks dude! really help full!

i dont have any files to protect, but would be a good option for stuff like an excel file with important bank notes

  • Chido!!!
