Backwoods Miniatures O16.5 gauge NGG16 Garratt Model. Here I am running in the engine frames after the coupling rods have been fitted. This has helped to get everything turning smoothly and now I'm ready to fit the connecting rods and the rest of the motion gear. This double-engined model has outside frames and counterweights that spin hypnotically balancing the coupling rods and crank-pins. • @ajhdbsteam The word 'easy' depends on your perspective. These are well made kits and easier than some others, but this is still tricky. You need quite a few specialist tools to do it well. It is fun though and I'm learning as I do it. I'm sure the next one will be easier.

  • Very nice, how are these to build? Im concidering having a bash at a C&M 0-6-2
