Simple "portable" hand-controls that can be used as "permanent" ones. Most new cars have a module as the accelerator, this complicates things. The old way the pedal presses a lever that pulls a cable thru the firewall so you could just tie off to that.

  • Typical mechanical pedal?? I thought all pedals are the same.

  • @Ngtin321 no. most gas pedals (older) actually involve a lever that "see-saws" and PULLS a cable out of the fire wall when you press down. So with those, all you got to do, is lasso your rope to the very top of the gas pedal mechanism. Some newer ones are modular and you have somehow press down.

  • Thanks for watching! Any hardware store, just match the rope you will use to the pulley wheel. the LAST thing you want is the rope getting jammed!!! Good luck! BTW, just reiterate, you only need the pulley if you don't have a typical mechanical gas pedal.

  • What kind of pulley did you use? Where can I get one? Thanks.

  • Wow. Very impressive.
