In '74 and '75 you can hear MJ's voice starting to change, but in '76 he does something to overcome that and keep the higher voice: He either deliberately starts talking in a higher register so that he can maintain as a high a range as possible, or he actually did something to himself physically. Perhaps we'll never know which one is the case.

This is a wonderful interview with the Jackson kids although I didn't like the obnoxious behaviour of the host. You can tell Michael Jackson was shy and sensitive. He's obviously a talented artist. I wonder what happened to all his drawings.

@ericjungleboy Michael's actual voice was deeper than the voice he often spoke in publicly. It was very deep, but it had bass to it. He only spoke in high voice to perserve his high singing voice and screw with the media...remember he was a enigma, very hard to figure out.
