Screening Process - Trancient

Wow, this is quite an event: the first song with a name that isn't the number of the track!

So here we are with the 4th song (actually it's the 5th, but the 4th is a bit different to the rest, I'll probably upload it anyway eventually). This one took up more of my time to correct fluctuations in the volume than any othe...r so far. All I can say is: mastering this one was hard.

The song itself reflects something a bit more punchy than songs before it, and honestly I really like how it turned out. Influences here come from Solar Fields (electronic, mainstream ambient) with a hint of Global Communication (ambient, very mind-expanding). This track arguably doesn't have enough mid-range (but plenty of bass and treble), but I don't care. It sounds good in my ears.

I hope you enjoy the smooth synths and rhythmic basses as much as I did fusing them together.


Screening Process is the name of the project that I'm working on alongside my other pursuits, such as the band I'm in called Kaos Theory. My intentions are to craft musical pieces that can be listened to in whatever mood the listener is in by combining electronic instruments and various different tempos and time signatures.
