On Dec 2, 2006 in sub-zero (celsius) weather, dozens of students sprinted into a frigid Lake Michigan after accepting more than $5,000 in pledges to benefit the Dwong Madiki Partnership. The DMP aims to foster sustainable, personal relationships with Ugandan children, to amplify their voices in the West, and to empower them through partnership, mentorship, and education.
