Introduction by Dance - JoJo meets Desi. JoJo Ocampo, Partner in the 2011 Hawaii Bachata Festival, introduction by dance with Desi Jevon. Desi, formerly from Hawaii, now resides in Los Angeles where he is a faculty member at The Edge PAC in Hollywood. That's where Cuban-American playwright, Alejandro Estornel approached him with a play called La Vida. His character, Desi, was based on his life, it was really hard to play himself at first but found a way to... just be himself. He has also had the opportunity to perform, literally around the world, train celebrities as well as performed a few times on Dancing with the Stars, did the recent print/commercial campaign for SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, Toured w/ GLORIA ESTEFAN, ALICIA KEYS, TONI BRAXTON's Revealed Show in Las Vegas, Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards w/The Rock, Guest Tango Instructor on The Dr. Phil Show, Spike TVs Scream Awards, Latin on Ice, SNL w/Katie Holmes, Scrubs, All My Children, Bill Engvall Show, Wizards of Waverly Place, Victorious, Alias, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, American Dreams, Andy Barker PI, Poiseidon, Clerks 2, Sabado Gigante Salsa Champion, A Chorus Line (Paul), Rock of Ages, and West Side Story (Bernardo).
