Hi everyone,

this time, I filmed the whole workflow of my latest work. The original image was just cropped to 16:9. The movie "Inception" inspired me a little bit. I don't say that this is perfect! I just want to show how I work with Photoshop.

Next time, I will upload a video of a technique called Color Grading. Known from nearly every Hollywood Blockbuster. After that, I will explain the look of "Loomax" a bit more. He is a well-knwon photographer and flickr user.

Cinematography is a very interesting topic! Anyway, here are the steps in English.

1. Black and White, Soft Light, 35% Fill
2. Curves, Luminosity, 100%
3. Hue / Saturation, Normal, 100%
4. Hue / Saturation, Overlay, 100%
5. Color Balance, Screen, 50%
6. Solid Color, Overlay, 35%
7. Curves, Luminosity, 75%
8. Put everything on a new layer, invert it, mode: vivid light, again...everything on a new layer, desaturate it, mode overlay with 50% fill
9. Image Canvas Size for the stripes
10. Solid Color (Black) und 5% opacity

Hope you all have learned something.
