A video tribute to the online community at my.barackobama.com. I've taken a number of different versions of "Amazing Grace" and "I Feel Amazing"' by the Bergevin Brothers and combined them with images of a number of the bloggers on Obama's website along with various video snippets from the campaign trail.

I dedicate this video to my mom, who died when I was only 15 years old. I'm sure she would have been an enthusiastic Obama supporter. Rest in Peace, Mom.

  • Thank you Dan for the Amazing video. It is a lovely tribute to the Obama online community. I am glad to see you claim the title Desert DOVE; the rat label never seemed true. God bless you Dan and all of America. We have an amazing president who will need all of the vitality and good vibrations of us supporters to bring back the America we love. I know we can do it. Yes, we can.

  • The original moniker of Desert Rat was really more a description of what it's like here in the summer. When the temperature rises to 115degrees, you just look for any little rat hole to hide in to get out of the heat. The "Dove" moniker is really more a statement of my views on war and peace. Unfortunately, I can't change the URL of my Youtube channel without losing all of the videos and profile info I have here.
