This is easy ok
80's Griffith
90's dajuan
00's Gaines cause it's these players that could win and lead a team there is no G.O.A.T. Because there is more years to come of great players to this great program and we have this great program because of these great players (with the help of Denny Crumb)

@Garrell20 LA was my fav. player when i was 12,13 yrs.old. TWill molded himself into a better all-around player. It was LaBradford that pulled somebody aside at a practice or game and said that Williams is the next Darrell Griffith. Maybe that's goin too far, but that tells you how one of the top 10 players in UofL history himself thought of TWill's game. You may not like the new age players or attitudes, but TWill was a monster his junior and senior year! It takes some players longer to develop

@TheCardsfan77 You kno what, I respect your thoughts on the matter. But T Will & Reece Gaines would not make Uof L's top 20 players if a poll was done. Jus the facts. Yeah don't get it twisted T Will did improve his game & was an exciting player to watch when he had a dunk or 2 I kno that... As for Labradford Smith I was a big fan of his & he was better than T Will hands down!!! When I refered to the 80 & 86 teams these players were Great players T Will was a good player & Reece Gaines Ha!

@ulgitalian anybody that puts Corn Holden , E.Clark even TWill, ahead of DeJuan Wheat need to watch old tapes or call the JoeB and Denny show or something! DeJuan is absolutely no lower than 3rd on this list. I got plenty of old VHS tapes honestly if u need to remember how good Wheat was. Just sayin. Oh Well .....Go Cards!
-
@Garrell20 YOu sound like my dad dude. Get out of the 80's! My dad didn't even know who DeJuan Wheat was about 5 yrs. ago because he stopped paying attention in the 90's. Just because there weren't multiple final fours or championships in the 90's or 00-10' doesn't mean there weren't any great players. Terrence Williams grew into one of the most exciting and best all-around players in UofL history....Ask LaBradford Smith!!!!

Granted...Dean and Garcia gave us some memories and they helped revitalize the Cardinal program after a very mediocre late 1990's. I ruled out Dean because it just happens he play for a school that has a very heavy tradition in great high-scoring guards. He was good but he is not in the Griff, Wagner, Gaines, Beard or Maybin territiory. Garcia would've made the list if he had stayed for four years. I can't blame him for getting that NBA money but I only consider 4 years players.
