I tried learning the Rodney Holmes Groove Demo. Not sure if I'm doing it exactly right, but I think it still sounds pretty sweet! The pattern I'm using is actually pretty simple:
RLRRLL RLRLRLRRLL RLRRLL RLRLRLRRLL
Note: I can play this much better now, but I haven't had time to make another video. Will make another soon and elaborate on the beat...cheers!
