Out of the Darkness Walk 2011, NYC Vol 3.
The number of luminary memories in one place at one time really brings the message home that too many precious lives are lost to suicide. All I could do was cry as I shot this footage.

I wanted to be there so badly! I have lost so many to suicide; including my best friend at 14, my Uncle at 16 and my grandparents at 21. I wanted to do this walk for them, thank you for posting this, it helped me be there in a sense. The song would have been my choice as this song is I believe universal for all of us 'left behind'..Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting and helping to raise awarness for this cause.

ugh, what a song to touch my heart about my 17 year old Travis I lost 2 years ago.

So glad someone wrote it......such a huge problem in our country that largely is ignored.
