  • wow I used to work for an airline that has the atl airport as is hub. I know this happened last year, but tell me if there's sumthin i can do

  • Thanks, but its pretty much too late to do something right now. Hopefully their TTY's are working for deaf passengers.

I think all airports need to set VRS for deaf customer/passenger but i dont know if possible in the future, if you know what I mean.

  • Yes i do know what you mean. Its not very possible for every airport to have VRS. TTY is much easier for airports. There would be too much problems if we had VRS at the airports, such as firewalls, not working and etc.

  • I agree with you that someone who work at the airport or what in Atlanta need to fix the TTY so deaf people can use it to let the family know about their flight delay or whatever.

  • Yes I agree.

  • Honey, there's a reason there's lousy service at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. It's the busiest airport in the world. That's right- the WORLD. Reason? All other major cities have multiple airports. Not Atlanta.

  • I think my computer is on mute I cant hear a thing

  • Have you ever think of VRS/VP? There's MVP (Mobile Video Phone) for you to carry and call 'em. It's way better than TTY for deaf/HOH.

  • at the calgary air port there is a tty phone and also at the montreal air port

  • You don't have to buy a TTY if you are not deaf. Just dial 711 from any phone. Press 1 for a relay call, and tell the live operator that the name and number of the person you want to call. The operator will tell you what the deaf person is typing to you. And the deaf person will read your words on his/her TTY. Buying a TTY for personal use is very expensive!

  • thank you so much

  • you have to buy a TTY and if your friends don't got one you have to call the relay and a middle person will talk for you to your friend of what your saying than they type back on the TTY to you and tell you what your friend said. that how it works. my mom hates me calling because she hates having to talk though a middle person oh well lol.

  • hello ....
