  • So he is talking about The Church, the Body of Christ ... not a church in the local sense of a parish, diocese or group of dioceses in common government. A province can take the form of a national church or of a collection of nations but is characterized by common episcopal governance and liturgy. The newly forming Anglican Province of North America will probably include a variety of churches from Canada and the United States. As "ekklesia" gathered for Eucharist, they comprise the CHURCH.
