Johnnie Johnson(rock & roll hall of famer) played piano on ERIC CLAPTON"S 24 nights cd ,rolling stones and also for Chuck Berry on his early hits. Buffalo met Johnnie in Denver Colorado playing at the 400 club(a stripper joint) and many years later played with him off & on in st.louis..Johnnie guessed on Buffalo 's first cd in 1993 titled "livin on the edge". Johnnie was inducted into the rock & roll hall of fame and was on many recordings (stones ,etc). Rest in peace dear Johnnie.
the jam was at "off broadway" club st.louis.

After seeing this for the Nth time, two things are clear. You and Johnnie were VERY good for each other. And the second point is something I've said about myself all along - you play well by feeding off the inspiration of others!! This is a textbook example, my Great Friend.
