  • Its too bad you couldn't turn up a flap of sod up hill then pass back turning the earth down hill so that you could flip the flap back and cover some of the bare ground. That removes the need to mow mulch into the swale. Id like to see those mounds sown with clover and nitrogen fixing trees esp. Ash for animal forage. Also why not plant some of those chestnuts & legumanosa down near the ditch where they could tap the ground water that gathers at the base of the hill?
