Vectoring takes so long just to trace all the parts... I dunno if there's any faster way to to do it. I hate doin this xD...

The problem I have with Illustrator and photos is that it's kind of lousy rendering shadows without faces appearing bruised, burnt, or simply way to dark. Illustrator can't seem to handle the subtleties of shading people very well. :(

What should I do if I wanted to animate that? Lika a rotoscope movie (A scanner Darkly etc.)

Yeh its kewl... learning this at graphic collage now... pretty easy and fun! xD i prefer this on mac rather then on PC ... although in general i love PC's more then Macs <3 xD kay thx bai =P

i can't even get the right color on CMYK to make the shading.
how could you do that?

Don't start After Effects as well, if you want to keep your mind sane. After Effects is sort of tunnel... very hard to get out! :D

Man I wish I had CS. I still have 5. Need o get a new one soon. But Im probably going mac for a multimedia like computer. So I hold for now.

Hi,
nothing to teach, at the end of the day. Just trace what you see ;)
The tricky part is the color. Fortunatelly Illustrator has a swatches gallery named Skin tone ;)
Everything is in there already.
