  • 7 is nana? i thought it was something like zichi?

  • @ohmygothicfaal 7 is "nana" or "shi chi" :)

  • I'm currently teaching myself Japanese with books, great Japanese movies, Enka music(from Jero), and sometimes Anime. I've saw two of your videos(this one and the "Te" form for verbs) and they make more sense and are in a way that are very well thought of for people like me to understand. Do you have any other videos that teach all other aspects of Japanese? I'd really like to see them.

  • Thanks for your comments.

Hope you enjoy other videos on my channel too. I'll make more videos.... :)

  • When do we use SHI instead of YON and vice versa?

  • It depends on your preference when you simply counting numbers. However, there are lots of counting suffixes in Japanese which are added after the numbers depending on what you are counting. For example... -mai (yon mai) for counting flat objects like pizza, -nin (yo nin) for counting people, etc. :)
