You know, if you use a real pot (pressure cooker) that runs around $37 bucks for a 'medium' 8-10 quart or a huge 16 quart for $68 you shouldn't have a problem with contamination if you flame the needle before injecting it. Just have all the stuff ready to get to work once the syringes show up.
