If you want a professional straightener and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair. You can buy from My Hair Styling Tools or Hair Products Pro. Good luck and I hope this helps.

@janiekendle Thanks a lot! I've heard great things about GHD also but have never tried it. Let me know how it works out for you!

I have been using this one for years and it is very healthy for your hair. My hair is really fine and I straighten a lot so I need that or my hair will fall out. Its technology far surpasses sedu, chi, which I have tried and even some hai models

@goodlooka33 Oh cool! I have gone natural now and don't straighten mine yet but I do straighten my daughters' hair with it and I still love the flat iron after all this time. It was an excellent investment! My new channel is GurlGoneNatural on here and on FB, just got that one going today! So if you're into hair and makeup and want to follow along, check me out! Thanks for your comment, have a great evening!

Nobody has a comparison of Fhi and chi flatirons! What's your opinion?

@Jusslykfireworks1 I have never used a Chi but I hear that they are awesome. Personally, I've gone natural now so I won't be investing in any other flat irons unless I decide at some point to blow out & straighten my hair. Thanks for you comment! :-)

Just a friendly suggestion: because your hair is already straight from the relaxer, you really dont need to go over 320 degrees when flatironing. I think that 275-320 is sufficient, especially for your hair because you are relaxed bone straight.

@brownnbubblie Thanks for your comment! I've gone natural now... I am however using my FHI still because I'm wearing a sew in currently. You are absolutely right, that temp was too high for my permed hair! Not sure what it's going to be when I hit my year and get my hair straigtened but I'll try and do a video at that point also! :-)
