No Doubt and Gwen Stefani have been long time favorites of mine. She's got such a distinct sound. "Don't Speak" is such a classic of theirs I couldn't resist. We decided to have a little fun by filming this one in the backyard to come up with something more interesting for a backdrop. However. . . the sound quality was pretty poor so on this one we re-recorded the vocals& music separately and matched them up. (you'll notice it doesn't match up perfectly:-) We recorded the vocals in one full take to keep it as true and raw as possible. However it obviously doesn't sound like I'm in a backyard! Anyway, enjoy! "Don't speak I know just what you're sayin', so please stop explainin'. Don't tell me 'cause it hurts. . . ."
