@chrissozombie222 Not at all. The Swedish version did a much better work at conveying the mood of the book, whereas Matt Reeve's version was dumbed down into some horror thriller. If your decisive judgment is on the spoken language of the film, then clearly you have no criteria to make a judgment on filmography.

@ridefly66 ABSOLUTELY!! There will NEVER be another film like Let The Right One In. It is, indeed, the best movie EVER!! I will have to disagree with you about Let me In not being a disaster, though. It is more than a disaster. Will just agree to disagree. :D

I read the book, loved it. saw the original swedish movie.. loved it. Leave it up to the americans to fvck up a good thing with "let me in"

@Cobrakaredfire I finally did see Let Me In and couldn't believe it was practically shot for shot a copy of the original. It was like plagiarism honestly. If someone rewrote the book they'd be sued right? Oh wait, I guess with movies you can buy the right to do that?
Though it was subtle and hell if I know it lacked the charm and endearing qualities of the original. I must rewatch the original now.
