If you look at how she improved so much from the previous Olympics and the amount of time she slashed off the world record - about 7 tenths of a second I think then as much as she was great she was a cheat in my book. Still loved her though!

So true of testing in the 80s and 90s. There are drugs today yet to be detected. The only reason The Clear (THG?) was discovered was because coach Trevor Graham sent a syringe with the substance to the US Anti Doping Agency in order to bring down a competing athletes. Whats ironic about him doing that is two of his prominent trainees were Justin Gatlin and Marion Jones. What a stupid Guy. He was subsequently banned from US Track & Field because several athletes he trained were testing positive.
