Grissom Leaves Las Vegas Forever- 1-15-09

This is my first tribute to Gil Grissom of CSI Vegas. I still can't believe I am doing this..It was just a few months ago that us CSI Vegas fans watched in horror as Warrick Brown (episode 9-01 FOR WARRICK) was horrifically killed after clearing him as a suspect in the murder of Getta. Then we watched a heartwrenching funeral for Warrick in which Grissom gave the eulogy and I will be honest with you, I cried like a baby and still do every single time that I watch that episode. I have continued to watch CSI (without Warrick) although in each episode a feel a huge void (only one that Warrick could fill). And now...after 9 years...GRISSOM is leaving. His final episode will be 1/15/09 which is in about 2 hours from right now as I am posting this video. I don't know how CSI will survive this second hit as well as my heart...

I think the song that I chose for this memorial is perfect for the relationship that Grissom and Warrick shared. Over the years Warrick fought the worst kind of demons but in the end (as he said in his last episode) there was always ONE MAN THAT WAS THERE TO PICK ME UP..HE SHOWED ME LOVE AND HOW TO LOVE, AND IF I COULD HAVE CHOSEN MY FATHER, I WOULD HAVE PICKED HIM. He is talking about Grissom for those who may have missed that episode..

Does anyone knows that when saw the promo on TV, there has a song which tag into the scene when Grissom is going to leave CSI. The song is sing by male singer, but dunno his name & the song's name. Does anyone know? Pls help, I had tried to look for that song from then...

My wife and I believe that maybe Grissom isn't leaving the show for good. Our theory is that William Petersen may have other plans in the coming months which will make him unavailable for the CSI shoots. I hope we are right about this theory because Grissom is in fact the BACKBONE of the show and it wouldn't be CSI Las Vegas without Gil Grissom.

I have shared that same theory with my husband..He is doing some theator acting right now..I am hoping that our predictions are right because in all honesty I have not enjoyed the series since both he and Warrick left..
