i'm just starting out and i don't really get it. aren't you hitting on the way up and the way down whether you're saying "down two three" or "up two three"? i mean, does the way you move and hit change or is it just 6 beats all uniform?

means you hit

Hi there, I am an absolute beginner and I find your videos very helpful. Especially as I am from Germany and there is no possibility of getting lesson around here.

Anyhow, I have a question. What you doing in this video, would that be the same as down, top end of stick and then up again? Sorry, if that's a silly question, I just wonder.........
