@iQuirks Its been so long I had to look this up on the Avid, Lux Æterna was the original, composed by Clint Mansell which ran throughout the movie Requiem for a Dream. But it was re-orchestrated for the Lord of the Rings, which is the version I use here. I believe it is under the credit of Corner Stone Cues Requiem for a Tower. Thanks for the comment!

Last years winner did it in about 2hr 45mins,...so I think the average is around 3hrs 15/3hrs 35

@jeromed2 As far as I know the winner did it in just over the hour mark. And it is a mainly amateur event. All the more respect for them for staying in that water for the times they did. I always reckon it's an endurance more than a race.

@Ramshobraja The average time was just under 4 hours that year. In 2008 swimmers were still coming in after 6 hours
