@wolfmother8719 I searched for those everywhere and even tried to get couple of nurseries here in Georgia order it for me, but they end up not getting (Because Georgia Agriculture dept consider it Invasive). I have 4 Elaeagnus x Ebbingei which also fruits pretty well (There flower is one of the most fragrant flower I've come across) .. but the fruit is not round like the one he's eating, but rather long .. and seed is rather large. Interestingly, Zoo Atlanta has quite a few of the E. Ebbingei

u r soo informative! but like most things feral u have an annoying quality as well. It's just that u smack n scarf when u eat. And breathe through your nose in a sqeaky way. otherwise u r easy to ingest. Know that eating w/out manners is innately disgusting!

Where did you find the plants?

It is a delicious fruit, makes wonderful jam and chutneys. I like making a juice out of them if I'm going to drink it right away. Tastes like a combination of raspberries and apples to me but each tree can have variations in flavor. I wish I would have known about them sooner, so healthy and tastey!

So why is the Government against this plant!!!
Think about it.. it costs the hospitals and and doctors and pharmaceutical companies.
it cost the fertilizer and insecticide companies! Talk about conspiracies..
Far fetched.. maybe.. but if this is just one example of things the government either ignores or puts down..great video.
It grows like a weed in Georgia!
