A complete cover of the Beatles' Nowhere Man by Heday Marcy produced by a legendary Japanese producer/artist Doctor Osamu Kitajima. I love Nowhere Man, such a beautiful harmony, so I made it. The idea was to make it sound as close as possible to the original Beatles Nowhere Man. www.myspace.com/hedaymercury

  • what kind of pedal are you using for the effects?

  • Nothing. My guitars are going straight into amps.

  • This is a fantastic cover and nice video! Sounds just like the original... great job, Heday. Can I ask how you get the lead strat sound? I have tried to get this sound before, but didnt succeed.

    PS - nice tape machine!

  • I think it's bit of everything that made the sound. I doubled with 2 vintage strats from 60's, one going through VOX, the other Fender amp. For Compressor we used Fairchild 660, and Manley for EQ. Thank you for your comment! Heday

  • Is that a 60's vox you are using?

  • nope, i wish it was. it's vox ac 30 from 90's.

  • Sounds great, but I don't understand the point of covering a song so that it sounds like the original.

  • Excellent!

  • Muy buen trabajo seguro llevo haras de grabación, congratulation

  • great cover!! see ours...

  • Do you know where I can find notation for all the harmony parts?

  • 1:30 "at all" not "a lol lol". For gosh sakes, if you're going to do a cover, PRINT THE LYRICS OUT FIRST!

Now, it's an okay cover and nice guitar sound, btw. And when you cover a song, it's your choice to do it just like the record or enhance/change it. I like covers that stick fairly closely to the original else, you might call it a remake instead. good job.

  • @uberworm Cause its fun

  • @SethDaActor the A B and Am and G# are bared E chords (Am is a bared Em Chord). B seventh fret, A Fifth fret, Am Fifth fret, G# Forth fret.

  • where did you get the chords for the song?! when i type it in in google it gives me the easy version. I want the chords your playing because those are precise. Where did you get them?

  • That was fantastic well done!!!
