@ttOSUI Dude we wanted our name and history back... art model made a deal with cleveland to let you keep the history. Irsay wasnt so kind and left in the middle of the night. The only way we coulda gotten the Colt name and history back was to fork over 30 million or somthing crazy like that for it...

Not our fault. i didnt ask for a team to move here. We wanted the expansion team... But the NFL gave it to jacksonville. I think everyone knows baltimore is a much bigger football town than Jville.... just look how that franchise is doing there now.... It shoulda been in Bmore instead.

@mlb32001 thats because the cleveland fan base fought to keep the history of cleveland and the name 'browns' in cleveland in not letting model take the name and history that he helped to build, baltimore could have fought to keep its history and stats but they didnt

That scoreboard message makes my grandpa cry everytime. He finally had the extra money for season tickets in 1996 and they moved. never got his money back either. said modell could keep it. he didnt want it back for all he cared

We also lost all of the Colts history, they took all of that to Indy. The Browns went away for a few years and then came back to all of there history.
