If you ask me - this is one of the greatest film's in the Hollywood history. Fantastic music, great plot and incredible cast - Newman and Redford at their best. Stunning.

My dad came home from a business trip in 1974 & announced @ dinner that while was bored in the hotel room one night, he went to see this movie & it was the greasted flick he had ever seen. I saw it a week later & agreed--still do! The casting, music, direction, acting, script, are absolutely brilliant! While the con men are conning everyone in the movie, they are also conning the audience. The ending is one of the biggest surprises in movie history!

Certainly one of the best in the decade. Many people, including me, got our first real exposure to ragtime because of this movie, and I still enjoy listening to it. This is a movie that was FUN to watch ... not many movies seem to be now. Simple, clever fun.

I have such happy memories of seeing this movie with my family when it came out in '73, and although it's not really a family movie, it's fun to watch and talk about, then and now. It is Newman and Redford's great chemistry here that made me watch Butch Cassidy and TSK and love it, too. Paul and Robert really embodied for me the enviable ability of men to be true friends despite some competitiveness and bickering. Thanks for uploading!
