Ever wonder what cologne to buy or wear? With so many to choose from, the task may seem daunting. But, with these quick tips, you'll have the right cologne for any occasion. Below are the names of the specific ones I mentioned in the video if you are interested in those.

Issey Miyake Blue - (for evenings out to restuarants OR dates usually)
Armani Mania - (perfect for dates - women love this)
Michael Kors - Michael (perfect for black dressy clothes, very classy)
Clinique Happy for Men - (cool for casual freshening up post-workout)
Creed - Green Irish Tweed - (any occasion)

  • While I think you have some good tips I know that many will disagree with you including myself on one thing. "Don't wear your colognes everyday". I have about 15 bottles and picking my sotd is always something I look forward to. In my opinion there really is no reason not to use a cologne everyday.

  • @Greenage3348 thanks. i used to wear it every day too and try to pick 'just the right one'..

  • i have a question what about if your a male nurse what kind of perfume can you wear on the hospital? thanks

  • @sugba2sugbo I don't think it's a good idea for nurses to wear cologne / perfume at work. Chances are someone will not like what you're wearing and might find it "offensive" or maybe even be allergic to it. Definitely wouldn't wear anything but depending on what you do, your supervisor might think otherwise; just ask.

  • so is , or isn't it ok to wear cologne at work ( i mean subtle amounts not drowning in it)?

  • @yorgoman I would say it depends where you work. In the food industry, it's not (waiters, food service, cooks). Most places I think would have the managers tell you not to wear anything because it could "offend" the customers or your co-workers. People have varying degrees of sensitivity...it might be really strong for others but weak to you. I'm sure there are some jobs where it would be okay, maybe the same jobs it helps to be pretty and dress really nice and fix your hair, etc.

  • all you guys commenting and asking this guy question and asking for tips on wearing colognes lmao!! who is this guy? some sort of cologne doctor or something? hahaha!!! he has no clue? lmao!!! ask brandon or mark, they will tell you what's up with this fool!!!

  • isey miyake, a men, jean paul gaultier, etc are some of the cheaper colognes you can buy! and they last the longest! and creed is one of the more expensive colgnes, eg you can buy a 100ml jean paul gaultier (le male) for about £40 and it will last 3 times as longer and more powerful that something like creed which cost 3 times the price. so plz make sure you know what your talkin about! please! and you should be advising people to wear cologne everyday!!! who doesnt wanna smell nice?!! lmfao!!

  • lmfao!!! it makes me laugh when people who dont kno what they're talkin about give advise to other ppl. not being funny but you say that you shouldn't wear cologne everyday!?!? If i don't wear cologne i don't feel as fresh and as comfortable as i do when i do wear cologne. i feel like something is missin if i don't spray cologne every morning after a shower. And you say the more expensive a cologne is the longer it will last and the more powerful it will be? lmfao!! lmao!! lmao!!! lmao!!!

  • Women who work at cologne stores sometimes have to push a particular product. So be cautious when trusting their "opinion". They are salespeople and may be obligated to promote the product of one of their suppliers.

  • clinique is sooo good i got it yesterday, def. my casual cologne from now on! :)

  • @twitchster77 No offense, but you're gay too, right?

  • @BrosephMG Just because a guy cares about the way he presents himself. . .makes him gay?

And what does it matter if he is?
