This is a video of me, Kevin Potter, making some silversmithing stakes. I wanted a professional quality video to illustrate the steps involved in making a quality tool. I'm one of the last makers of these tools, there might be a handful of us left.

This was made by my nephew, Stefan Welsh. He is a video producer, and a creative young man who is willing to travel to make videos and has reasonable prices. Contact him via email at stefanwelsh@gmail.com.
*** Look for a cameo of my son at the end of the video.

  • I love your vid, we should all be makeing archive accounts of how "We" do "our"

    and competitors etc. my shop, has a B.P#2 a Cinci.milicron 207 and a 1968

Gidding Lewis H.B.mill a #5 morse taper radial drill with a 6 ft. arm. My crew and I use them daily (except the boreing mill which is still being retrofitted) We manufacture and repair Piledriveing equipment near Seattle Wa. in my
