This is the short video of my training at Norwood Flight Academy. It starts as dual instruction in the pattern and then I do three trips around the pattern solo. The visibility was 5sm this day and there was a lot of snow on the ground. That combined with the direction of the sun and the flight pattern make the view out the window harshly bright. This was shot with a Flip Mino HD camera and due to the set-up of the camera and the harsh light, the exposure out the window made it hard to see detail. As a result, during editing I added two masks on either side of my head to darken the exposure out the front window. As you watch the video, you can see the runway threshold over my left shoulder just before the round-out. There is cockpit and ATC audio on this video.
GREAT!
Thanks for your clips!
