Also, what tuning was your guitar in since you're not using a 7 string? I too use a 6.

i just have it tuned to e standard. its definitely different sounding, but i didnt feel like getting a seven string to play covers of another band haha

BOO you had it tuned in e standard. way to block out the root note of the chug chug parts. you should have at least tuned to drop b and worked with it from there.

unearth usually tunes in standard though they just use an extra low b
