Im a huge jets fan and this is absolutly imbaressing, dustin keller is a incredible tight end and the jets were in need of a tight end that year. The fans that go to the draft give jets fans a bad rep every year at the draft.

Keller has one of the most well rounded skill sets of any NFL Tight end. I'd say he is on an even keel too and he works his ass off for our JETS.

This kid may seem like an idiot, but it was understandable. At the time, the tight end was Chris Baker. The previous year he had a very strong, promising year with over 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. They were picking sixth overall, so they had so many needs at that point. To lose draft picks in a trade and then fix something that wasn't broken just didn't make sense at that time.
Now it has worked out. Keller isn't a stud by any means yet. Right now he's their 3rd/4th option.
