why do people call kobe the sidekick in the first series of championships >.> a center can't do it all himself, kobe even broke the nba 3 point record in a game during that time, he was amazing, but cuz he was a rookie or w/e he wasn't played as much. nah the rings themselves arent what makes you better than another its how you got them. Malone Barkley Ewing all have no rings. Why, because Jordan was in their way. Based on Lebron's performances in late game situations I'm not so sure the Lakers would have. If they still got Shaq then ya maybe the first three would be there. The next two I highly doubt it.

as for the game not being about winning? come on man this aint a summer league for 8 yr olds. Its about winning. Coaches jobs and players salaries all depend on that. One player makes a huge difference. If Jordan isnt on the bulls do they win any rings? Maybe but not 6

He may not pass like Lebron or defend like Dwight but he has the drive to succeed and a W is far more important than the stats. He will do whatever it takes to win. When the game is over it doesnt matter that Lebron pulled a triple double if his team loses. Which they continue to do...
