@chodgey1 You're truly blessed to have known the Isaacs. Pray for my people, their people, as the true peace that can come to Israel is the Gospel of Yeshua!
I remember Joe Isaacs. I lived on Red Lick RD. I've gotten drunk with Joe Isaacs many a times. We used to party on a farm just across the creek just down from my trailer on Red Lick Rd. Love to you Joe!!!!!! Signed Opal(you should know who this is). You used to sing me a song every year on my birthday. Sure do miss that. Love ya & miss ya. Am living in Arkansas now
i wonder if the isaacs remember when we where kids my dad general smith would take us to their house and we would go to different churches with them. i know i will never forget those days, i have always love to here them sings. those where the good old days in morrow, ohio.
The very first time Joe sang in front of a group was in a little town in Ohio called Corwin. He sang with a young gal named Brenda McComas at the Corwin Pent. Church. That is my mom!
Joe is one of the greats - and one of the most under-rated pickers in traditional bluegrass.
Nicely done, Joe!!
