@msgais I was stationed in Mannheim from Feb 81-Dec 84, Coleman Barracks, 7th Sig Bde. Sounded like fun. Steve Miller also has a Blue Strat.

I heard about the lysol incident..they got fired
and were gonna set the dressing room on fire..I had no idea it was lucifers..I used to party there back in the day!Their careers blasted off after that gig as Dreamboat Annie soared up the charts!

In the mid-80's was stationed in Mannheim Germany. Saw and picked up a misty blue strat at some place called Pfeiffer Musik. Thought of Heart's "Blue Guitar", gave it new pickups and a wammy. Ann and Nancy influenced and inspired me. I gave my black '57 Les Paul to my friend Rich that played it better than me, and we got on top of our old WWII Luftwafa barracks roof and started jamming. Man did we get into real big trouble. Chrissie Hynde jammed a misty Blue Guitar strat back then too.
