HaHa. Well i dunno i would think that not farming at all would leave the most time cause you just pick the fruit thats there. I mean arent we today the people with the least time and the advanced tools ?
Perhaps the innovation of more effective tools (e.g. farming, cultivating, hunting) made the chore of providing for one's daily sustenance less time consuming, thus freeing up time for exploration, as the people's could now count on available stores to sustain them. The improvement in containers, and tools making it possible to distill and create preservatives for food would be an example of how expanded explorations would be more possible. Or maybe they just yearned for some good Bratwurst.
