I think i could write you some code, allthough i dont have an arduino myself.
If im right, then what you want to do is while one led is on the other is off, and both are off unless a button is pressed, correct?

hi,
i was trying to do the same thing except that my rgb led gives me blue, green, aand then blue and green. red never shows up and other rainbow colors..do you know how to fix this bug? im using ur code :)

@hayood123 Try using individual LEDs (of any color) to make sure everything works okay. Also check the polarity of the LEDs because they won't work backwards.

@ericlathrop i figured out that my red and then green were burnt out. How do i check the polarity of the LEDs? is that cube made of paper only? thanks :)

@hayood123 The longer lead is the positive anode, the other is the negative cathode.
I think I may have had a cotton ball inside the paper cube to keep it snug.

@apmproductions18018 Yes, it was a quick way to make a diffuser so you could see the color mixture better. A ping pong ball also makes a good diffuser.
