  • We can get 1600ft on good headwind days. But it's more like 1400ft or only 900ft if you badger an instructor to let you fly with a 90° x-wind. That was fun.

  • How long are your winch runs?

  • Yeah 1600ft launch :D I've been gliding almost every weekend up until last weekend. The weather is not being very nice right now. Hopefully there /might/ be wave at NH tomorrow!

  • How high do you normally get off a winch launch at North Hill? Has the new Skylaunch winch arrived yet, and what is happening to your old Supacats? Weather has been a bit poor at weekends recently, but good midweek when I'm at work!

  • @cirrusflyboy One day I got 1950 feet!

  • Using the OS map and looking at both SW-NE and NW-SE runs, the runs are about 900m or 3000ft

  • There are two old supacats. Today (Unflyable) I chatted to the blokey from Supacat about the software in the automatic one. That one and the Manual are on sale to another club. The new one hasn't arrived yet.
